To put it plainly Serenity is not very good. It is unimaginative and unoriginal. It tries to be a scifi thriller but it is in fact a scifi snooze.
To be honest, the best part of the movie is the very beginning. The first few minutes are fairly exciting and thrilling. Then the movie moves right into to boreland. Serenity is about a girl who is captured by the government and reprogrammed as a physic weapon. Her brother breaks her out at the beginning and the rest of the movie is about their voyage on the ship Serenity. This movie gets a 1/5. It could barely keep my attention. |
